TAC’s Annual General Meeting of Members was held online on Friday, September 15. Over 50 people participated and heard from TAC’s leadership about the Association’s achievements in 2022/23.
President Sarah Thiele highlighted TAC’s performance measures. She credited the Association’s engaged membership, active volunteers and committed staff for TAC’s continued success in the last year. Observing that the transportation sector is evolving with innovative developments emerging to address new and existing challenges, Ms. Thiele said “TAC provides a vital forum where transportation professionals can connect, share information and build knowledge in these changing times.”
In other business at the AGM, Treasurer Michael Thompson presented the audited financial statements and Executive Director Sarah Wells shared a summary of TAC’s operations over the past year. Seven Directors were also elected or re-elected to the Board, which provides strategic direction and oversight for the Association.
