Technical Meetings

TAC’s councils and committees meet twice a year during the Spring Technical Meetings and Fall Technical Meetings. Many committees also hold other meetings online throughout the year.

Technical meetings allow practitioners to contribute to and learn from progress in Canada’s transportation sector. They are also essential to the productivity and success of TAC as an organization.

Meeting agendas can include activities such as:

  • expert presentations
  • technical project discussions
  • conference session planning, and
  • roundtable updates by members

Technical meetings are free, open to council or committee members and observers, and conducted in English. Young professionals and post-secondary students are welcome. Except for invited guests, all participants must be employees of TAC member organizations or individual TAC members.

Spring Technical Meetings

These online meetings take place throughout April. Information about the meetings is added to the Events Calendar in January each year.

To receive connection details, participants must register for each meeting they wish to attend. To register, click on any meeting in the Events Calendar and sign in to your TAC account.
