Comprehension Testing for Road Signs and Traffic Signals
About comprehension testing
The Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) develops new traffic control devices for use on Canadian roads. TAC tests new signs and traffic signals to make sure they are understood by road users before including them in the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Canada, a document that helps road authorities use traffic control devices in a consistent and harmonized manner.
