Centre City Cycle Track Network Pilot Project In-Service Safety Review

Abstract

In 2015, the City of Calgary opened its Centre City Cycle Track Network as an 18-month pilot project. City Council will make a decision on the future of the pilot project in December 2016. To help inform Council’s decision, the City conducted a comprehensive monitoring and evaluating program based on over 80 performance measures. This In-Service Road Safety Review (ISRSR) was conducted to assess the safety performance of the Centre City Cycle Track Network.
