The GDG is a fundamental reference document for roadway design practitioners in Canada. It contributes to the consistent and safe development and expansion of regional, provincial, and national roadway and highway systems in Canada.
The MUTCDC guides the use of road signs, traffic signals, pavement markings and other devices in a consistent and harmonized manner across Canada, which is an important factor in road safety.
Our Councils & Committees
About 900 transportation professionals from across Canada come together through TAC’s volunteer network of more than 30 groups under six focus areas. Participants learn from each other, discuss challenges and solve problems to improve transportation systems.
