The 2012 TAC Conference features a wide variety of technical, social, professional and networking events over three and a half days.
- More than 40 cutting-edge technical sessions, panel discussions, workshops and poster sessions will address a wide variety of topics, including the conference theme, Transportation: Innovations and Opportunities.
- The Opening Plenary Session on October 15 will feature speakers offering delegates a chance to gain insight and enrich their overall conference experience.
- Innovating Ideas into Reality – Join us on October 15 for an interactive presentation, organized in conjunction with TAC’s Education and Human Resources Development Council and modeled after the popular television series Dragon's Den.
- Eight innovative Technical Tours offering delegates the opportunity to experience transportation infrastructure unique to Fredericton are offered Tuesday and Wednesday. Register in advance – first-come, first-served!
- Luncheons, receptions – including the Monday Night Local Showcase at the Currie Centre and the Annual Banquet – will tempt your tastes and provide great opportunities to renew old acquaintances and make new ones.
- The TAC Exhibition encourages delegates to interact, make contacts and learn about exciting innovations in the transportation sector, from Canada’s premier transportation suppliers and services.
- A fun and unique Companion Program and Fredericton city tours have been arranged by TAC’s local host, encouraging delegates and their travel companions to see the sights in and around this growing city.

Special room rates are available at the five official 2012 TAC Conference & Exhibition hotels, only for conference attendees. In order to benefit from these rates, delegates must mention the TAC conference when making their reservation AND must reserve by September 5.

TAC has also made special arrangements with Air Canada, which provides delegates with a 10% discount on their best available regular fare at the time of the booking (excluding web and promotional fares). Budget and Avis are offering special TAC Conference rates on car rentals. Note: Special promotional codes need to be quoted at the time of reservation.

The Full Delegate, Early Bird registration rate is $825 for TAC members and $1110 for non-members. A variety of other registration options are also available offering streamlined packages, daily rates, student rates, specific event tickets and more.
